Under Control is a system of vehicle management and control that uses A Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM). It  provides information to the user to remotely and instantly track and locate people, vehicles, and any mobile asset, ranging from pre-set time to validate these three critical points of information.

What is GPS?

A GPS unit is a device that uses Global Positioning Satellites to determine the exact location of a vehicle, person or other object connected to a GPS unit and stores the position of that object at a pre-determined interval of time.

Location data is stored through  the unit tracking (GPS), and transmitted to a central location. Information can be viewed immediately from any computer with Internet access, using a cell phone or blackberry, via radio or satellite modem connected to the unit. This allows the device to display the location on a map in real-time via a Web application. To access the program all you need to do is go to  www.undercontrolsa.com, no program instillation needed all you will need is a  username and password (confidential) to gain access.

The system runs on all platforms (Windows, Mac OSX and Linux), preferably in the Firefox browser.
